Wired Science on World War 2.0

Am watching Wired Science right now on PBS.  It's a new weekly show, which tackles science and technology news and trends.  So far, the first episode is stellar (and their site offers up some nice features to view and share video).   Make sure you tune in or log on.

There's some great video's on the Wired Science, but I'm not to sure about the 'RoboDoc'. Hope it doesn't use Vista. Think I'll just stick to the 'Drobo'

Looks interesting, but the World War 2.0 story was a bit too over-the-top for me. Lots of fear-mongering with talk of computers being usurped for botnets (while showing a MacBook Pro - AFAIK, no botnet software exists for OS X yet) ... but, I'll keep an eye on it and see what else they have to offer.

Now I'm gonna have to go watch the 80's movie of the same name :)

Decent story, but I agree that it's a bit sensationalist and overly dramatic with the spooky background music. But then again, that's what I've come to expect from Wired's science coverage in both print and Web formats.
