I need a German translator - From Early Adopter #6

Cornelius (my Facebook friend) just sent me a link to this video - I think I like it, but am not too sure what they're saying (good things, I hope!).  Oh, and there is a Part 2!

my 3 years of German in high school are all for nothing! I can understand just enough of it to have no idea what they are talking about!

Uhm. I'm a german native speaker, but I've got not the slightest clue, what they are really singing about. It's kind of confused, makes-no-sense crap. It's just a confusing ad for a web site (for early adopters, where it looks like they can get beta-stuff there, maybe invites to private betas?)

hi amer, I'm glad you like our little video. (The 3rd part is coming up on thursday :) It's absolutely astonishing for us, that our little video made all the way to you. I follow commandN for a long time... I'll give you a full translation when I'm at the office (sitting her with my cereal :-) phil

sounds like an invite for "early adopters" to become beta-testers at popula.de

Judging by their website, I think popula.de is a website that acts as a public events calendar for parties, concerts etc. So I think the song is basically saying that they want the "early adopters" to become beta testers for the site, and that early adopters are the kinds of people who like to try new things and, specifically, want the inside track on the parties etc that are going on and want "a ticket to the top".

Yeah, it's an ad for the website. Something like an event calendar with hot pictures in the videos. The singing is all about being a beta tester for the website.

And I started to wonder why you found it interesting ... and then -- http://tinyurl.com/4foyqq

basically they say early adopters are cool, super sexy and they're looking for them to beta test their site "giving you a ticket to the top" and so on. ad for a site :) if you want a literal translation drop me an email

First off, that video might be NSFW - I'm just saying! ;) It's really just a 'hip' and 'trendy' self-promo for that site! If you go to that site popula.de, you'll see another music video from them. It's a romantic, piano version of the song - and much more bearable than the 'viral' original (thus easier to translate)! Drop me a line if you want another German translator! ;) Love your work and hope you'll keep it running!

I was not able to read the scolling text at the end, because it is too fast and the pause function does not seem to work. <p> But it is obviousy a site, where you can find and promote partys.

Posted by: bitnacht | around 22 days ago

Ahh, pause did work... (Amber ... how are we sopposed to start new lines in the comments?)... OK it reads: "If you have objections to your picture appearing in this video, please contact lorem@ipsum.de ... Thanks to ... Apple ... flickr ... Sandman ,,,"

There's a video that relates to what we who don't speak German are experiencing. I won't link directly to it as it does contain a little profanity, but at your own risk search in YouTube "Worlds Best Commercial". It's currently the top result on youtube for that search. If, in the future it is not, it's the video posted by use SthlmSolberga. Watch the short commercial, it's worth it.
