It’s easy to see that technology and Toronto are moving together in many ways. With over 4,000 active startups and leadership in AI and fintech, Toronto is one of the world’s leading innovation hubs. Add to that projects like the upcoming Sidewalk Toronto – a 3.3 million square foot mixed use smart-city-in-a-city testing ground for technology and urbanism in partnership with Google’s parent company Alphabet – and you can see why people are anxious to move here.
Condos make up an huge proportion of newly built homes in Toronto, and there’s growing demand for tech that simplifies city living, so leading condo developer Tridel decided that they would to build the first “smart condominium” in Toronto: Ten York.
